LinkedIn Job Posting Program Update (June–July 2025)
Important update for Discovered.ai users who post jobs to LinkedIn through our platform
Overview
LinkedIn is introducing changes to its job posting policies that directly impact employers posting jobs through third-party platforms like Discovered.ai. These updates affect both job visibility and integration requirements.
To ensure uninterrupted LinkedIn distribution and compliance, please review the following changes carefully.
Job Ingestion Resumes: June 15–16, 2025
LinkedIn had temporarily paused job ingestion from newly added companies via third-party platforms. That pause will end on June 15, 2025, when LinkedIn resumes accepting jobs from new companies.
If your company was affected, your jobs should begin appearing live on LinkedIn by 9 AM PST on June 16, 2025, assuming your account meets the required criteria.
No action is needed on your end if your job feed is already active. If issues persist after this date, we recommend reviewing LinkedIn’s official guidance.
New LinkedIn Compliance Requirements
(Effective July 1, 2025)
Starting July 1, 2025, LinkedIn will enforce new compliance rules for jobs submitted through platforms like Discovered.ai. These requirements apply to all customers using our LinkedIn job posting integration.
-
Paid Users Only
LinkedIn now requires that its job posting integration be accessible only to verified, paying users of the system.
This means the following users will not be eligible:
- Users on a free or trial plan
- Users flagged as suspicious or under review
- New users whose accounts are less than 30 days old
Discovered.ai has updated its system to support this policy automatically.
-
Corporate Email Requirement
All job postings must include a corporate domain email address associated with the person posting the job.
Generic or public email addresses (e.g., Gmail, Yahoo) are no longer permitted. This is a mandatory field under LinkedIn’s updated schema.
-
Locked LinkedIn Company ID (LI COID)
Once submitted, the LinkedIn Company ID (LI COID) for a job posting cannot be changed unless a valid correction is needed. Our platform now includes built-in checks to enforce this rule.
LinkedIn Policy Expectations
LinkedIn requires all job postings to comply with their:
- Job Policies
- Job Listing Guidelines
- Limited Listings XML Feed Contract
Jobs that fail to meet these standards may be removed. Repeat violations or high complaint volumes may result in termination of LinkedIn job posting privileges.
Action Items for Discovered.ai Users
To remain compliant:
- Confirm your team is using verified, paid Discovered.ai accounts
- Ensure all job postings include valid corporate email addresses
- Double-check LinkedIn Company ID entries before publishing
Most of these updates are handled automatically by our platform, but we encourage all users to review their job settings before July 1, 2025.
